A DAZZLING ROUTE, WITH VIEWS OF ROCKY LANDSCAPES, DESERTS, COLORFUL LAGOONS AND OF COURSE THE SALAR DE UYUNI. LIVE THE COMPLETE EXPERIENCE OF ALTIPLANO BOLIVIANO WITH THIS TOUR OF 4 DAYS AND 3 NIGHTS. FIXED DEPARTURES EVERY TUESDAY.
We began our journey in Tupiza, where the arid climate and the strong winds were responsible for forming rock figures from a fictional story. We walk through the Quebrada de Palala that houses these figures carved naturally for thousands of years. Then we go to the top of Sillar from where we can see these impressive formations.
We will continue the trip to the San Vicente Mine, the main stage of the last assault of the bandits Butch Cassidy and Sundance Kid. We visit the museum to learn a little more about this curious fact and then we go to the viewpoint to see the artisanal mining activity in the area. We visit Las Lomas de Arena our last stop to stretch our legs before arriving in Uyuni.
The second day we will explore the entire length of the Salar de Uyuni, from the most iconic points such as the Incahuasi Island or the Ojos de Sal, to the most hidden places on the north shore, to mention a few: La Cueva Chiquini, the Tunupa Volcano, the Coquesa mums and more.
On third and fourth day we enter the vastness of the Andean deserts and the lagoons of colors. We visit the Eduardo Avaroa Reserve to marvel at the endemic fauna and flora of the place. A trip to feel like inside a dream.
